(Your Biography by Ray Bratcher) You notice that you exist. You notice you are a body (1). You notice that bodies die. You conclude that one day you will die and cease to exist. You become afraid. In your fear you close your heart and contract upon your “self”. A “self” which did not exist prior to your contraction. A false “self” which seems to be separate from the body. The imaginary “I”, which you imagine to be “inside” the body. Allowing you the comforting illusion that, maybe, “you” will continue even after the death of the body.
You are not this false self, nor are you the body. You are Life Itself (2), arising AS the body.
You are a King, who, laboring under the delusion that he is a beggar, pretends to be a King. After many years of such pretense, you have very nearly convinced yourself that you are a King. But not quite. Always there is the background fear and anxiety of being found out. Always you are at “war” with all the other “Kings” who, like you, in their fragile insecurity, imagine enemies everywhere. And you waste your life struggling every day to maintain the pretense. Never knowing that letting go of the pretense is the only way to remember that you are actually and in fact, a King.
Now you know.
What will you do?
(1) Body=physical body, mind, emotions, psyche, energy body, astral body, causal body, etc. The entirety of the psycho-physical entity associated with “you”.(2) Life Itself=God, the Absolute, Conscious Energy, Conscious Light
